Pressurised Fruit Ripening Room Ventilation

Ventilation to each ripening room is provided by a roof mounted fan, identical in specification to the pressure fans, to provide automatic or manual vent control via the ripening room management system (RMS).

A dual inlet/discharge damper operates in parallel with the fan to allow fresh air from outside to replace the air within the room when venting is required. Fail safe indication of the ventilation system is provided to the RMS in the unlikely event that the ventilation damper fails.
