Ripening Room Sealing System

Our unique sealing system employs a vertical “D” section flexible seal. This allows an option for the ripening room to operate in reverse airflow, ensuring that both sides of the fruit stack receive equal amounts of conditioned air, ensuring uniform ripening across the entire pallet stack.

In operation, this seal ensures it is strong enough to withstand impact from pallets whilst the room is being loaded and is flexible enough to create an adequate seal between air distribution system and the product.

The horizontal pallet seals are supported continuously along the full length of the room. This continuous support renders screw or rivet fixings unnecessary other than at the front of the room to prevent damage at pallet entry. The support method makes it a very simple task to remove a seal for cleaning, or replacement in the unlikely event that it is damaged.
