Pallet racking system

Designed to BS5950 by our structural engineers this is of box section construction for cleanliness and strength providing easy access for pallet loading at high level.

To assist loading at upper levels, fork lift guides are installed to form a centre aisle and for strength these are backfilled with concrete. To assist with loading into the ripening rooms, the guides are tapered at the front.

To further assist loading and centralising the fork lift truck in the drive in racking, the middle and upper tiers of racking are offset from the lower tier.

An access ladder, fixed to the rear wall can provide access onto an optional grated walkways at the middle and upper pallet levels.
