Ripening Room Management System (RMS)

The MTX state of the art ripening management system (RMS) allows the ripener to control each of the chambers via its very own touch screen computer located adjacent to each of the doors. This controller provides total control of the ripening system allowing operators secure and password protected access to many functions including:

• Clear real time temperature display and control
• Fan speed and energy usage
• Ventilation intervals
• Humidification control and monitoring
• Ethylene gas control and monitoring
• Door control
• Lighting control
• Pallet loading and isolation

The touch screen display is linked via a network cable to a ripening room control panel which is generally located on the ripening room ceiling. The main control panel is the home to the control system including the associated protection devices and relays.

This system can be configured to allow all rooms to be viewed and controlled remotely, via handheld PDA’s, a mobile laptop interface and / or the internet.
